About

Elon University's Master of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) program is a 24-month, full-time curriculum designed to prepare students to think critically and act skillfully in meeting the expanding healthcare needs of diverse communities. The curriculum emphasizes active learning strategies, including collaborative work with faculty, scholars, and practitioners, ensuring that graduates are equipped to address patients' physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. The program is housed within the School of Health Sciences at the Gerald L. Francis Center, alongside Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Nursing programs, fostering an inter-professional learning environment.

Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program offers a three-year, full-time curriculum that integrates rigorous academics with extensive clinical practice. Students benefit from 40 weeks of clinical experience, surpassing the national average, which includes three eight-week clinical practicums during the second and third years, and a culminating 16-week clinical practicum. The program's innovative modular curriculum builds on a solid science foundation while emphasizing hands-on applications and patient-centered care. Housed in the state-of-the-art Gerald L. Francis Center, the DPT program provides students with world-class facilities and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within the School of Health Sciences.
