Key Faculty
95% of full-time New York Tech faculty hold terminal degrees. Experts in their fields, our faculty members serve as mentors to graduate students and work alongside their students conducting research and guiding them through their own applications.
Research and Labs
Resarch and entrepreneurship are how we make the world a better place. Committed to practical, applications-oriented research that benefits the greater global community, New York Tech faculty work alongside students in the Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC), conducting research and guiding sutdents to create their own startup companies in bioengineering, robotics, nanotechnology, machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence and more.
The National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have designated New York Tech a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education and funded a state-of-the-art lab on the Long Island campus for faculty and students to conduct cybersecurity research.
Our business students, guided by faculty and alumni mentors, have developed and presented monetary policy strategies to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, worked on real-world case studies for major corporations, participated in research on pyschological ownership in marketing and supply-chain economics, and developed block-chain applications.
Architecture students worked on social impact design solution in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and sustainable and resilient design in local communities, and curated an exhibition on housing density in urban landscape at the Skyscraper Museum in New York City.
In New York Tech's labs, life sciences and health professions students are involved in research studies from bacteriophages in fighting anti-biotic resistant super-bugs to coducting research on Parkinson's disease, cardiac disease, anatomy, and more.
Tuition and Other Financial Information
New York Tech offers up to $3,000 in scholarships each year for high-achieving graduate students who qualify for the Graduate Scholar Award.
