New York University College of Dentistry (NYU Dentistry) is the third-oldest and the most comprehensive oral health care center in the U.S., educating nearly 10 percent of our nation’s dentists.
NYU Dentistry’s tripartite mission — education and training, research and innovation, and patient care — is advanced by 12 academic departments focused on improving the health of the highly diverse populations in New York City and around the world.
Our renowned DDS program features an evidence-based curriculum rich in basic sciences and provides unparalleled clinical experience, including rotations in all specialties and in our new Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities.
DDS students have exceptional opportunities to collaborate with our world-renowned specialty faculty and researchers, and they train alongside students in our dental hygiene program – the only such integration in a dental school in New York state.
