PCIP is for college/university junior or graduate students currently enrolled full-time who have completed a minimum of 15 semester hours prior to starting the summer internship. PCIP positions last 10-12 weeks and are paid, full-time positions at the GS-4 to GS-7 rates.
PAQ is for recent college/university graduates and provides a tailored 3-year program resulting in a permanent position within the AFCS. Starting pay rates is GS-7 with yearly promotions to GS-11. Those with a master's degree or with a bachelor's degree and professional experience may qualify for higher-level opportunities.
