Scalar Consulting Group Inc., founded in 2011, is a minority business firm (MBE) that specializes in Transportation Engineering, Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Studies, Planning Studies, Roadway and Structural Design, Drainage Engineering, Environmental Services and Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) Services. The Scalar Team brings decades of experience to the transportation engineering industry. The company president, Mr. Aniruddha (Rudy) Gotmare, was previously the Florida Transportation Director for a multi-national firm and was the Design Project Manager on the Port of Miami Tunnel project, prior to establishing Scalar Consulting Group. Scalar’s corporate office is located in West Palm Beach, with branch office locations in Tampa, Orlando, and Pensacola. 

We are Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) certified and Palm Beach County CCNA certified (Civil Engineering, Cost Estimating, Drainage Engineering, Professional Engineer Services, Traffic and Transportation Engineering Services, and Utilities Engineering). Scalar staff has worked on projects of both small and large scale (from sidewalk improvement projects to freeway interchange modifications). Scalar also has an extensive amount of Public Involvement experience, including staff that managed projects such as the SR 7 Extension PD&E Study (from Okeechobee Boulevard to Northlake Boulevard) in FDOT District 4. This experience helps with any transportation improvement project that require extensive community involvement.

Our full transportation engineering services include PD&E Studies, corridor planning, highway design, drainage design and permitting (state and local agencies), structural design, environmental assessments and permitting, signing and pavement markings design, signalization design, lighting design, utility coordination, roadway construction cost estimating, public involvement, and CEI services.
