Code 230721 - 24 month CUWSOP PGY1 pharmacy residency. The CUWSOP PGY1
Program Pharmacy Residency program offers a 24-Month Practice &
Academic Leadership Emphasis residency aimed at preparing pharmacists for
generalist ambulatory practice in urban underserved areas and roles in
teaching. Graduates of our program will be prepared for success in a
variety of ambulatory care practice positions as well as pharmacy
practice faculty positions. More information can be found at

Site Special Features:Residents spend 40-50% of the 24 months developing and implementing services at urban underserved clinical practice sites. Residents build their teaching skills at CUWSOP by participating in lectures and applied patient care skills labs, and completing a Masters in Education degree. All residents complete a research project and attend at least one national pharmacy conference during the residency year.
Fringe Benefits:The resident receives health insurance or health insurance stipend, travel stipend, paid holidays and 15 vacation days/year.
Special Requirements for Acceptance: Graduate
of an accredited school of pharmacy, eligible for WI licensure.
