To fit within your busy lifestyle, our classes are conveniently scheduled with a choice of weekdays, evenings and weekends; semester-long and executive formats; as well as hybrid courses, combining both in-class and online learning; and some courses completely online. All graduate programs at Ursuline include hands-on experiences, where you will apply classroom learning to the field. In addition, at the end of your program, you will complete a culminating, or capstone project where you will further integrate and apply all that you have learned during your program.

About Ursuline College

Location
A beautiful, spacious campus, located 13 miles east of Cleveland (a mile from Beachwood Place and Legacy Village) in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Ursuline is easily accessible, and close to major highways.

Founded
Ursuline College was founded in 1871 by Mother Mary of the Annunciation Beaumont of the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland. She recognized the need for an institution of higher learning for women. Ursuline College was the first women's college in Ohio and one of the first in the United States.

Our Campus
Located on a beautiful, spacious campus 13 miles east of Cleveland in Pepper Pike, Ohio, Ursuline is close to major highways, making it easily accessible. The College's campus features 12 buildings including the Bishop Anthony M. Pilla Learning Center, the Matthew J. O'Brien recreation complex, Smith Hall, The Florence O'Donnell Wasmer Gallery for professional and student art exhibits, the Ralph M. Besse Library and two other residence halls.

Student Body
Ursuline's student body, including undergraduate and graduate students, is over 1500. Although we primarily educate women, 9% of our undergraduate student population are men. 27% of our undergraduate students represent a variety of minority groups.

Faculty
Ursuline College employs qualified full-time and adjunct faculty, most of whom have earned doctorates or other terminal degrees in their fields of study. Ursuline faculty members are fully committed to student learning and success. Small class sizes enable students to get to know their professors well, and they can count on their instructors to guide and challenge them during their time at Ursuline.

Academics
Ursuline College offers more than 30 undergraduate and 10 graduate programs. We also offer the opportunity to finish an undergraduate business degree and legal assistant's degree in an accelerated format. Internships, cooperative education, and mentoring opportunities are available to prepare students for their careers. A Program for Students with Learning Disabilities as well as a Program for Academic Success and tutorial assistance is administered through Academic Support and Disabilities Services.
