About
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is a private, freestanding medical and graduate school. Students on the Milwaukee campus can pursue their Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree through our integrated four-year Discovery Curriculum, as well as complete a scholarly project via one of our seven scholarly pathways. Medical students have the option of the MD program, or they can choose to earn multiple degrees via our MD/PhD program or MD/MS program. Students wishing to pursue a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree can study in one of many biomedical science departments. Both schools offer state-of-the-art didactic learning, problem-based instruction, and the opportunity to work with MD and/or PhD faculty who are pioneers in their respective fields. In 2015, MCW will matriculate its first class of MD students on our newly-developed MCW-Green Bay campus.
