PA/MS Public Health Dual Degree
This additional one-year program provides 32 credit hours of public health courses. Students will spend their first year completing the MS in Public Health (MSPH) coursework (including fall, spring and summer semesters). The year as an MSPH student will be solely devoted to public health curriculum.
The following year, students enter the Physician Assistant (PA) Program to complete the required 28-month PA curriculum, in addition to their MSPH research project.
PA/MS Clinical Research Online Dual Degree
This additional one-year program provides credit hours of clinical research online courses. Students will spend their first year completing the MS in Clinical Research Online (MSCR) coursework (beginning in summer). The year as an MSCR online student will be solely devoted to clinical research curriculum.

The Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) program is a rigorous two-year graduate degree program designed for applicants who need to enhance either their academic record or standardized test scores for admission to health professions programs. This program couples a challenging curriculum with personalized student advisement. The program is designed to attract individuals from rural areas, low-socioeconomic status backgrounds, and underrepresented minorities, however, acceptance is not limited to individuals from these groups. Acceptance into the MSBS program does not guarantee admission into any of the Campbell University professional programs.

Students immerse themselves in coursework comparable to medical school courses, taught by CUSOM faculty members. Students’ academic success will demonstrate their readiness for medical and other health professional schools. The program also includes a dedicated semester-long standardized test-preparation course offered by Kaplan Test Prep.
The MSBS program focus extends beyond academics to support the growth of a well-rounded applicant by providing opportunities for community service, shadowing opportunities and medical mission trips. A holistic advisement approach helps students refine all steps of the health professional school application process.

The MSBS curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to become an effective contributor in the growing health sciences industry. While the MSBS program provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate academic capability, it does not assure admission to a professional school. MS Pharmaceutical Sciences
CURRICULUMSCHEDULE APPOINTMENT
The MSPS curriculum features a patient-centered, integrated approach to drug discovery and design. This curriculum was designed in cooperation with a number of professionals who currently work in the pharmaceutical industry to give our graduates the knowledge and skills that are most sought-after.

Students pursuing their MSPS complete one year of core courses, then in their second year complete either a co-op with a pharmaceutical company or a research project on campus, plus at least 8 credits of electives to gain expertise in chosen subjects.
The MSPS degree program is designed to enhance an individual’s research and contract service capabilities. Students who complete this degree are prepared for careers in the pharmaceutical industry doing drug discovery, development, and/or production or further studies at the doctorate level. The degree offers training in each of the major areas of pharmaceutical development: Bioprocessing, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.
The pharmaceutical sciences industry is the backbone of our healthcare system. New research and drug discoveries often lead to new therapeutic agents for treating illness.
MS Clinical Research OnlineThe MS in Clinical Research curriculum provides students with an in-depth understanding of producing and interpreting medical evidence in a variety of practice settings. Students can enroll full-time to complete the program in two years; or, choose a part-time option.
Graduates are prepared for leadership positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, government agencies, medical institutions, academic institutions

MS Public Health
The Master of Science in Public Health degree provides students with a solid foundation in health care research and outcomes evaluation. The program focuses on the promotion of health and prevention of disease, rural health care research, community outreach
Divinity Degree Programs
The curriculum of the Divinity School integrates classical theological studies with the professional and practical education needed for effective ministry in the 21st century. Throughout the curriculum, students are led to reflect on their calling, to increase their understanding of Christian commitment and vocation, and to deepen their faith and spiritual relationship with God and persons.
Faculty members of the Divinity School provide individual academic advisement for each student and consider interaction with students as part of their ministry of teaching. They are eager to serve as mentors and to counsel with students regarding their academic and vocational aspirations as well as to pray, worship, and serve with them in the Divinity School activities.
Summer opportunities for study feature a variety of learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom. These experiences can include global mission experiences, leadership training, study trips, and courses that combine classroom and field-based learning.

The MA in Christian Ministry and Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree programs’ core curriculum and vocational/elective concentrations are designed to assist students in preparing for their chosen ministry areas. Core courses are provided in each of these programs to enhance each student’s knowledge of God, the Bible, and of the life and work of the church. This same understanding is continued in vocational and elective courses. Mentoring experiences and mission and ministry groups are a distinctive part of the curriculum in each academic year. All students will complete a supervised ministry experience, which will enhance the development of their giftedness for their professional ministry.

MA in Faith & Leadership Formation
The MA in Faith & Leadership Formation degree program is comprised of intensives and online instruction. The core curriculum includes courses that give students a foundation in theological studies, form them spiritually, and enhance their leadership skills. Elective credit hours can be completed by taking a variety of courses that go in more depth, beyond the foundation courses offered in the core, and can also include mission immersion and study tour experiences.

Divinity Doctoral Program
Doctor of Ministry
One doctoral program is offered—the Doctor of Ministry degree. The Doctor of Ministry degree features a combination of core seminars, elective courses in one’s field of interest, and independent reading and research. All courses are taught and led by the resident faculty who hold terminal degrees in their academic or professional discipline. The Doctor of Ministry degree is designed to prepare qualified candidates to render spiritual, ecclesiastical and vocational Christian leadership at the highest level of confidence consistent with the mission statement of the Divinity School.

Divinity 3+3 Program
The Campbell University Department of Christian Studies and Campbell University Divinity School are partnering together to offer the opportunity for students to complete the requirements for both a BA in Christian Studies and a Master of Divinity in as little as six years, rather than the minimum of seven years normally required.

Campbell Law graduates are historically successful on the bar exam. Most recently, 93.1 percent of the 116 graduates from the Class of 2020 who attempted the July 2020 North Carolina bar exam passed.

About Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Campbell University School of Education offers a CACREP accredited 60-semester-hour graduate program culminating in a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. Upon graduation, students will have satisfied the educational requirements for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Please check your state licensing board’s website for more information about licensure as a LPCA and LPC. (http://www.ncblpc.org)
The CACREP accredited M.A degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is designed to develop skilled clinicians and well-educated leaders in the field of mental health. Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a professional counseling specialty which involves the application of principles of counseling, human development, learning, theory, group dynamics, and the assessment of mental illness and dysfunctional behavior. Clinical Mental Health Counseling includes the practice of prevention, early intervention, and treatment of mental and emotional disorders for individuals, families, and/or groups and consultation and education for community groups interested in promoting healthy lifestyles in the community.
Within a caring and challenging environment, the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program strives to facilitate the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills which will help prepare graduate students to make appropriate contributions to diverse clients, institutions, and society.

Special Characteristics and Accreditation
- Currently, all graduates have a 100% pass rate on the National Counselor’s Exam (NCE) and our scores are above CACREP and non-CACREP University National Averages.
- Campbell University’s Graduate Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is well received in central and eastern North Carolina having graduated many students who become licensed professional counselors over the past thirty years. Most graduates have remained in the area, therefore many private and public agencies are served by substantial numbers of Campbell graduates.

Students enrolled in full-time studies can expect to complete the program in three years. Students in the clinical mental health program must take courses during the fall, spring and summer sessions in order to complete the program. Courses are offered in the evenings with students typically registering for two courses per semester. Please note that the start date for the program is Second Summer Session of the first year.
Candidates for the CACREP accredited Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling must complete the following courses (60 semester hours). This program is not designed to allow students to meet North Carolina School Counselor licensure requirements. This will allow students to be eligible to become licensed clinical mental health counselors (LCMHC) in North Carolina.

School Counseling (M.Ed)
Campbell University offers a CACREP accredited M.Ed. in School Counseling as well as a licensure only certification program for those with a Master’s Degree in Counseling but without certification.
Please note specific deadlines for the School Counseling program:

The 60-semester-hour School Counseling program will prepare you to fulfill the diverse roles required of school counselors both as a theorist and practitioner in a multicultural society. You will be prepared to develop comprehensive school counseling programs aligning with the ASCA National Model and to collaborate with parents, school personnel, and others to assist students with academic, career and personal/social services.
Additional emphasis is given to acquisition and application of knowledge and skills, critical thinking and decision making, appreciation of diversity, demonstration of professional ethical and legal practices, and an understanding of the educational process within the complex school environment. The examination of your personal values and experiences and your potential influence in a variety of counseling situations is encouraged.
