Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing employment opportunities to blind professionals by providing customers anything and everything needed to keep their organizations running. We serve a wide range of customers from the federal government and military installations, to Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. We supply these companies with the supplies they need to keep daily operations running smoothly. These supplies range from office supplies to furniture and janitorial to maintenance products.

ibvi began in 1952 with the hiring of a single blind employee. Today we staff two 100,000 square foot manufacturing, warehousing and office facilities with approximately 250 employees.  Over the last 60 years, we invested in specialized manufacturing machinery and assistive technologies to grow the number of blind professionals we employ. From manufacturing jobs to IT and inside sales to purchasing and e-commerce, blind professionals perform almost anything and everything sighted employees perform. We are a leader in the upward mobility of blind professionals.
