About
I am with the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions at the Ohio State University. Our office explains and assists with the application process for all professional and graduate programs at Ohio State University. The graduate and professional programs determine which applicants are admitted to their program, but our office can explain the application requirements and many of the considerations that determine admission.
Our office deals with all graduate programs - programs leading to a PHD or Master's Degree. A prospective applicant can search for a graduate program at: https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/ and choose "Find your program". You can then choose the first letter of the program's title. There is a "search" field on https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/programs/ in which a prospective applicant can enter a program name or enter an academic interest. The entering of an academic interest will produce a list of all graduate and professional programs related to that interest.
There is usually interest in Ohio State's "graduate professional" programs such as the Doctor of Physical Therapy program https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/programs/program.aspx?prog=0163 and the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/programs/program.aspx?prog=0154. On all program sites, there is information on application terms and deadlines, costs and funding.
Most graduate programs at Ohio State provide funding to some of their admitted graduate students; this site has summary information on funding: https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/grad/funding.html.
Our office provides information on all Ohio State's professional programs, post-baccalaureate such as Medicine and undergraduate programs such as Dental Hygiene and Respiratory Therapy. The undergraduate professional programs are also undergraduate majors and enable licensure. For a complete list of Ohio State's professional programs, go to: https://gpadmissions.osu.edu/ and click on "About Professional". Except for Law, all professional programs require prerequisite courses. Our office helps prospective applicants and applicants understand the prerequisite requirements and evaluate their course work for prerequisite satisfaction.
