Recently we have made several acquisition of Business Units which specialize in various environmental technologies.

We have therefore created CMI Environment, the fifth sector of CMI Group.

One of the Business Unit of the sector (CMI Europe Environment) is specialized in air treatment solutions and especially in odor treatment plant for WWTP, waste management plant and composting plant.

While most of our references (more than 1200 happy customers) are located in Europe and in Asia, we have been developing our activities in North America recently.

Rather than a single technology or product, CMI Environment offers a full range of technologies ranging from biofilters & bio-trickling filters (using organic or inorganic media), multi stages chemical scrubbers, activated carbon towers, air strippers, etc. which allows us to offer the solution best suited to the customer’s unique and specific problem.

More than 1500 scrubbers, more than 1100 activated carbon towers and about 300 biological solution are running today worldwide. And among these, nearly 50 percent are dedicated to odor control and are treating customers’ odors problematics.

We have our own olfactomer and our own in house pilot plant (one pilot plant for each technologies) which help our R&D department to improve our knowhow every day.

Within CMI Group, more than 110 people are committed to solve odors' problematics.

In North America, we operate from CMI Environment America (AMCEC), located in Lisle, IL.

CMI EA (AMCEC) is a CMI Business Unit involved in Air Treatment (VOC) for over 40 years mainly with the Solvent Recovery System process.

Since January of last year, this is also our operational entity from where we handle all the environmental projects here in North America.

Our local team is able to handle projects in air treatment from the sales up to the commissioning.

This year, for the first time ever, the Odor & Air Pollution Control Division of CMI Environment has already announced more than $70 Million USD of new order entries, among these more than $ 6 Million USD in North America.

As a growing company CMI Environment is hiring in North America, we are looking for

• a sales manager to develop  our Municipal Rep Network (remote position) to expand our business
• a process engineer / manager focused on air treatment here in the US (job would be located in Lisle, IL.) to increase the strength of the team locally
