CMES, Inc. was founded in February 1996 by Professional Civil Engineers. CMES, Inc. is a young, aggressive company comprised of experienced professionals from the engineering, design, analysis, construction, and project management fields.
Key personnel of the firm is a registered Professional Engineer, with many years of experience in the design and construction of highways, advance transportation system designs, site works, parks, land development, as well as underground utility such as major storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
Additionally, key personnel have a track record of participating in multidiscipline projects and are therefore at ease working with architects, engineers, with owners, ultimate users, including Governmental Agencies, private enterprises, and local authorities. The general development of CMES has shown an increase in diversified scopes of work which include new road construction, mass grading, underground utility, park renovations, and bridge construction. The initial operations of CMES, Inc. were conducted from the home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The founders were the only employees for a time, working diligently to obtain and complete projects within budget and on time as per contract specifications. Today, CMES, Inc. has grown to a workforce of 300 dedicated workers. CMES, Inc. is now located in a 13500 square foot facility which houses an estimating, accounting, and contract departments. A fleet of more than 360 vehicles and heavy construction equipment is owned by CMES, Inc. which facilitates the completion of all projects obtained satisfactorily. CMES, Inc. has grown steadily over the years which is evidenced by revenues generated. Its revenue has grown from $377,902.00 in 1997 to, $75,000,000.00 in the years 20019.
Over the years CMES, Inc. has performed work for the Georgia DOT, Gwinnett County DOT, Cobb County DOT, City of Snellville, City of Buford, Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation, The University of GA – Athens, the City of Avondale Estates, Fulton County, Dekalb County, Henry County, Jackson County and the City of Atlanta.
