About Intel India

Intel is a worldwide leader in computing innovation. It has over 25 years of presence in India with sustained commitment. India is the largest non-manufacturing site outside the US; a microcosm of Intel with presence of all major business groups. Being a critical engineering center, India has developed rich competencies across SOC, graphics, platform and software. It has grown from 200 employees in 2000 to ~6,400 employees which includes its subsidiaries (McAfee and Wind River). It has R&D centers located in Bangalore & Pune with Sales teams across 6+ locations in India

At Intel, you can experience a world of opportunities. Opportunities to explore a wide-range of careers, to develop industry-leading innovations, and to work with the latest technologies and brilliant minds across the globe!

Join Intel India—We’re innovating to change the world.

Intel's Mobile Microprocessor Architecture group

Intel's Mobile Microprocessor Architecture group located in Bangalore is in the early development phase of the 2018-2019 generation of CPU/GPU products on Intel's roadmap. These products include ultra low-power Tablets and Phablets, 2-in-1s and Convertibles, Ultrabooks and High-end Desktops and Workstations. This Intel India Architecture team has a full-charter for SoC-level power/performance modeling, analysis and optimization, and is part of the Intel-Israel CPU products team.  The team makes central and leadership contributions in every stage of the CPU/GPU development effort:  early architecture analysis, microarchitecture research/development, performance/power modeling and analysis, detailed power/performance correlation vs. RTL and post-silicon tuning prior to launch. If hired, you will join a highly select product team that architects the most advanced and game changing computing systems for Intel worldwide, and makes the largest chunk of profits for Intel.

Parallel Computing Labs

Parallel Computing Lab is part of Intel Labs, the corporate research arm of Intel. Our lab focuses on highly parallel computing applications from various compute-intensive consumer and enterprise market segments.  We seek to be an industry role-model for application-driven architecture research. We work in close collaboration with leading academic and industry co-travelers to understand hardware and software architectural implications for Intel's upcoming multicore computer platforms.

Our current focuses are:

Application Domains: Deep Learning, Bayesian Learning, Big Data, Computational Biology, Neuromorphic Computing, Scientific Computing (CFD, Nuclear Physics, …..)

Architectural focus – Multi-Core, Many-core, Clusters
Energy efficiency, programmer efficiency, “feeding the beast” (memory) challenge, domain-specific  acceleration, massively threaded machines, unstructured accesses, distributed decomposition
