About

The University of Notre Dame’s ACE Teaching Fellows forms talented, faith-filled college graduates to renew and transform Catholic school classrooms.  Through ACE’s innovative instructional model, ACE Teachers develop the skills and knowledge necessary to serve some of the most under-resourced Catholic schools in the United States.

The three pillars of ACE—teacher formation, community, and spiritual growth—inform, inspire, and mobilize ACE teachers throughout their time in the program and beyond.  All ACE Teachers earn a cost-free Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame, taking intensive courses on Notre Dame's campus during the summer and living in community with other ACErs while teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools during the academic year.  In its 21 years, ACE has welcomed graduates from nearly every academic discipline from almost 200 colleges and universities across the country and around the world.
