Students have opportunities for hands-on research and mentorship with faculty and alumni, and can personalize their program of study to their unique interests. 

Global Focus

We have strong partnerships with organizations in Western New York and across the globe, providing hands-on field training, internship and research experiences for students. In 2011, we created the Office of Global Health Initiatives (OGHI) to coordinate and promote global health opportunities. OGHI brings together UB students, faculty, staff and community partners from countries all over the world to further health education, research and service.

Multi-Award Degrees and Collaborative Programs
We offer programs that enable students to obtain two degrees - the MPH and an additional degree - in less time and credits than each individual program requires. We offer programs with the Schools of Social Work (MPH/MSW), Law (MPH/JD), Management (MPH/MBA), Pharmacy (MPH/PharmD), Architecture (MPH/MUP), and Medicine (MPH/MD). Click here for more information.
