About

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is the Midwest's premiere academic medical institution. Previously known as the Marquette University School of Medicine, MCW is now part of the largest medical center in the state of Wisconsin, featuring partners such as Froedtert Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

MCW invested $234 million in research funding during the '17-'18 fiscal year, with $92 million in support from the National Institutes of Health. MCW's research enterprise emphasizes interdisciplinary collaborations that translates discoveries into health care advancements. The 2,500 research studies and clinical trials completed last year included focuses in cancer biology, functional imaging, molecular biology and genetics, neuroscience, cardiovascular physiology and many more.
