Founded in 1904, University of Western States (UWS) is the second oldest chiropractic physician program in the world. It has since evolved into a leading institution for an evidence-informed, science-based education, with a focus on health and wellness. Our doctor of chiropractic program is a rigorous 12 academic-quarter, first-professional doctorate program that focuses on evidence-informed, science-based education. The program offers a strong clinical component, allowing students to receive hands-on experience in the evaluation and care of patients.

The sports medicine program at UWS is a great option for prospective DC students looking to get a dual MS/DC program. The master’s in sports medicine degree program allows a graduate to specialize with amateur or professional athletes in a clinic or as a team physician. Students take in-depth courses in sports medicine and injury management culminating in a capstone experience.
