Fairbanks Engineering Company was founded in 2007 on the principal of providing quality engineering consulting and inspection services.  We offer a variety of services to mainly large residential production builders throughout the development and construction process.  Our services include geotechnical investigations at the initial purchase of the property.  Our sister company, FEC Environmental, provides environmental phase one and phase two assessments also at the initial purchase.  During the development phase, we provide engineering consulting, retaining wall design, construction materials testing, and soil testing.  After the development is complete and construction begins, we provide foundation inspections, all trade inspections including framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, and engineering consulting on issues from the time of foundation placement to warranty after the house is complete.  We also provide design services and plans for structural components of the house including foundations, basement and retaining walls, beams, and decks.     

Employee – Fairbanks Engineering Company offers a variety of services to mainly large residential production builders throughout the development and construction process.  We are currently looking for civil engineers to help provide consulting and design services to our clients.  Responsibilities could include providing geotechnical investigations prior to development, providing consultations for soil and construction materials during development and construction, and/or providing design services for retaining walls and structural components of the house.  Responsibilities would be based on the individual’s background and interest.  Individual must be self-motivated, be able to communicate with clients, and be able to work unsupervised. A BS in civil engineering is required.  EIT and knowledge of autocad is preferred.
