About
PreScouter is a technology scouting company based in Evanston, Illinois, founded by alumni of Northwestern University's Graduate School and the Kellogg School of Management.
Our Vision:
PreScouter’s vision is to help clients identify technologies and novel solutions to their R&D needs.We do this by increasing the transparency of research conducted in academia, and recruiting the brightest minds from top-tier universities, to develop and report on cutting edge technologies for Fortune 500 companies.
The Scholar Program:
Our Scholar Program offers training opportunities for advanced-degree academics to gain industry project experience, and utilize their technical knowledge to address real-life R&D problems. Our Scholars have completed projects for multiple Fortune-level clients, tackling industry problems in a variety of scientific disciplines, including pharma/biomedicine, aerospace, engineering, and chemistry/novel materials.
All projects are remote micro-engagements, constructed with an academic's schedule in mind, and no travel is required. Scholars receive program-specific training, have opportunities to work toward complimentary Project Management certifications, and receive payment for work on a per-project basis.
