About

The mission statement of Campbell University Divinity School is to provide Christ-centered, Bible-based, Ministry-focused graduate theological education.  This mission statement is the thread that runs through every part of this school.  Prospective students for whom Campbell would be a good fit are persons who can affirm this mission statement.  The centrality of our mission statement allows us to have great diversity in our student body denominationally, ethnically, and theologically.  Campbell Divinity School enjoys a strong sense of community among faculty, staff, and students.  Our distinctive curriculum includes an excellent balance of content courses, practical application courses, and spiritual formation courses.
"Campbell Divinity School has given me the tools to serve God's people as Christ served us - uniting my own personal spiritual formation with academic exploration." ~ Tiffany Brown, MDiv Student

Certificate Programs

In addition to multiple degree programs, Campbell Divinity School offers four certificate programs that can be earned outside, or as part, of a degree program. The certificate programs are designed to give individuals the skills and knowledge needed to work within very specific ministry contexts such as preschool, children, and youth ministry.  They can also be applied to more general ministry contexts that would benefit from additional study in the areas of biblical studies and women in leadership.

CUDS Blog

"Unlike some divinity schools, Campbell has not tried to tear down my faith to restore it as the professors see fit.  Instead, I have made a family who loves and accepts me for who I am. Like any good family would do, the main goal they have is to make sure I have the best knowledge and understanding of my faith as possible. In this I have strength and a solid foundation for how my faith is formed. I could not even begin to imagine being able to call this place anything other than home, and that is something I never expected to get from a graduate program."~ Abbi Davis, MDiv Student
