Campbell University
Campbell University is an interprofessional, service-oriented, private, Christian institution offering hands-on, student-centered education and patient-centered training for the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Pharmacy, the Physician Assistant Program, and graduate programs, which include MS in Clinical Research Online, MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and MS in Public Health; our dual degrees, and our undergraduate programs which include BS in Clinical Research, BS Pharmaceutical Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), as well as outstanding Pre-Pharmacy and Pre-Med programs.

Doctor of Pharmacy
Campbell University is one of the best pharmacy schools in North Carolina. The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences’ largest program, with more than 25 years of credible training history. Our pharmacy graduates have maintained an average of 98 percent passage rate on the national pharmacy board exams over the last 25 years and continue to build a legacy as successful leaders, innovators and contributors to the pharmacy profession.

The Campbell University Department of Physical Therapy Program’s mission is to graduate doctors of physical therapy who deliver compassionate, patient-centered care from a service-oriented, Christian guided view, with a special emphasis on rural healthcare environments.

Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc)
The Campbell University Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) degree program is the first program of its kind in North Carolina. The DHSc program is a 100% online, 54 credit-hour, interdisciplinary doctorate that equips post-professionals with skills and expertise to positively shape the future of healthcare and health-related organizations.
The program courses are 100% online and in a convenient accelerated 8-week format.
The program provides an interdisciplinary curriculum with a focus on practical application of modern health care delivery, rural health policy and public health ethics, health administration, and interprofessional education/practice that will prepare students to provide leadership, planning, innovation, and organizational improvement in colleges and universities, clinics, hospitals, government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, non-profits, private industry, and other related healthcare-oriented organizations.

Master of Physician Assistant Practice

Campbell University’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program endeavors to meet the future needs of the PA profession and its role in the healthcare delivery system throughout the continuum of care. The program promotes patient-centered, evidence-based medicine preparing students to be competent healthcare providers.

PA/MS Public Health Dual Degree
This additional one-year program provides 32 credit hours of public health courses. Students will spend their first year completing the MS in Public Health (MSPH) coursework (including fall, spring and summer semesters). The year as an MSPH student will be solely devoted to public health curriculum.
The following year, students enter the Physician Assistant (PA) Program to complete the required 28-month PA curriculum, in addition to their MSPH research project.
PA/MS Clinical Research Online Dual Degree
This additional one-year program provides credit hours of clinical research online courses. Students will spend their first year completing the MS in Clinical Research Online (MSCR) coursework (beginning in summer). The year as an MSCR online student will be solely devoted to clinical research curriculum.
The following year, students enter the Physician Assistant (PA) Program to complete the required 28-month PA curriculum, in addition to their MSCR research project.
MS Pharmaceutical Sciences
CURRICULUMSCHEDULE APPOINTMENT
The MSPS curriculum features a patient-centered, integrated approach to drug discovery and design. This curriculum was designed in cooperation with a number of professionals who currently work in the pharmaceutical industry to give our graduates the knowledge and skills that are most sought-after.

Students pursuing their MSPS complete one year of core courses, then in their second year complete either a co-op with a pharmaceutical company or a research project on campus, plus at least 8 credits of electives to gain expertise in chosen subjects.
The MSPS degree program is designed to enhance an individual’s research and contract service capabilities. Students who complete this degree are prepared for careers in the pharmaceutical industry doing drug discovery, development, and/or production or further studies at the doctorate level. The degree offers training in each of the major areas of pharmaceutical development: Bioprocessing, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.
The pharmaceutical sciences industry is the backbone of our healthcare system. New research and drug discoveries often lead to new therapeutic agents for treating illness.
MS Clinical Research Online
The MS in Clinical Research curriculum provides students with an in-depth understanding of producing and interpreting medical evidence in a variety of practice settings. Students can enroll full-time to complete the program in two years; or, choose a part-time option.
Graduates are prepared for leadership positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, government agencies, medical institutions, academic institutions and hospitals. Within these fields, graduates are qualified to work as clinical research associates, project managers, data managers, clinical monitors, biostatisticians and many other positions.
Faculty members in the Department of Clinical Research are recognized experts, published scientists, committed mentors and proven professionals. They bring a combination of scholarly theory and real-world experience to the classroom, providing students with innovative ideas and preparing them for the career they always wanted.

MS Public Health
The Master of Science in Public Health degree provides students with a solid foundation in health care research and outcomes evaluation. The program focuses on the promotion of health and prevention of disease, rural health care research, community outreach and service learning opportunities.
