Meet Watson, IBM’s $1 billion start-up. Until recently,Watson was best known for beating Jeopardy’s all time champions. Today, Watson’s been put to work representing a new era in cognitive computing, forging a new partnership between humans and computers that scales and augments human expertise.
Watson is a cognitive system that thinks a lot like we do. It represents a culmination of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, dynamic learning and hypothesis generation to effectively take vast quantities of data to make better decisions.

Some of the skills we look for across multiple roles: 

-Experience in Java programming, Python, Ruby or Perl 
-Background in Natural language processing or Machine Learning 
-Web 2.0 programming (Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON for web or mobile user interface development, user centered design)
-Familiarity with build tools such as Rational Suite, Jenkins, Maven, Ant
-Experience in Linux, Scripting, performance tooling (heap/garbage collection analysis, profilers)
