At the LBJ School, you will receive a rigorous analytical and theoretical foundation in public policy.  With 350 master’s students and 40 doctoral students, you will be part of a tight-knit learning community at the LBJ School. Master of Public Affairs (MPAff) Program:
Designed to prepare leaders with the knowledge and skills to address critical public policy challenges in city, state, and federal government agencies, private business, and nonprofit organizations.

Master of Global Policy Studies (MGPS) Program:
Dedicated to the understanding of how policy is made, analyzed, and evaluated relevant to international issues, including foreign policy and diplomacy, security, trade, environment, and development.

DC Concentration Program (for both MPAff and MGPS):
The LBJ School Washington Center will prepare you to work in the demanding DC policy environment. You will spend your first year in Austin within the LBJ community and then the last six months in DC where you will step into an internship as soon as you arrive.
