About

The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is nationally recognized for excellence in preparing pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, occupational therapists, and medical laboratory scientists to tackle society's toughest problems in Minnesota and across the globe.

The college is inclusive of programs for pharmacy (PharmD, MS, and PhD), medical laboratory sciences (BS, Certificate, MMLS, MS, and BLS) and occupational therapy (occupational therapy doctorate - OTD).

Our college is a leader in the development and instruction of Pharmaceutical Care (a.k.a. Medication Therapy Management).

The College of Pharmacy has a small college feel with the benefits of a large university. The college offers a large variety of options for dual degrees in PharmD/MBA, PharmD/MPH, and PharmD/MHI, research, and leadership development. Students in the program are highly involved in student organizations and college committees that foster community service, and professional development. As part of an Academic Health Center, our students encounter many interprofessional learning opportunities with students from Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, and more.

As you get ready for pharmacy school, you can take pre-professional courses online offered by the College of Pharmacy! In addition, whether or not you choose to attend the University of Minnesota for pharmacy school, you also have the opportunity to take specialty elective Pharm.D. courses online taught by our expert faculty.
