UNLVPT: The Department of Physical Therapy offers a fully accredited physical therapy program leading to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. The program of study consists of 112 credit hours of intense academic and clinical course work over 6 semesters and 3 summers. One cohort of 36 students begins the program each year in June.
Admissions requirements: The deadline for applications is November 2nd, 2015. Classes will start in June 2016. Applicants must apply to UNLVPT using the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS). In addition, applicants must apply to the UNLV Graduate College. In addition to completing the requirements for a baccalaureate degree, applicants must complete prerequisite course work with a grade of at least a “C".
