New Jersey Y Camps, is a family of 4 camps based in Pennsylvania. Hiring counselor and specialist positions for the 2019 summer season. Camp Nah Jee Wah, Cedar Lake Camp, Teen Camp, and Round Lake Camp based out of Milford, PA, USA
Camp Nah-Jee-Wah (NJW) is a co-ed combination of an individual & group choice camp offering over 50 different activities in sports, arts, science, lake, pool and ropes courses. The camp has over 420 children mainly from the tristate area (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) as well as other states in the USA, Latin America, Russia and Israel. NJW employs over 200 staff from countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and South Africa. Counselors live in cabins with approximately 10-14 campers and 4 other staff. Counselors work as specialists teaching a skills or supervising the campers.
Ages of Campers: 6-11 years old
Cedar Lake Camp (CLC) is a co-ed individual choice camp offering over 75 different activities in sports, arts, science, lake, pool and ropes course. The camp has over 630 children mainly from the tristate area (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) as well as other states in the USA, Latin America, Russia and Israel. CLC employs over 230 staff from countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and South Africa. Counselors live in cabins with approximately 16 campers and 4 other staff. Counselors work as specialists teaching a skills or supervising the campers.
Ages of Campers: 11-14 years old
Teen Camp (TAC) is a co-ed individual choice camp offering over 75 different activities in sports, arts, science, lake, pool and ropes course. TAC also takes part in numerous community service projects as well as 5 day trips to San Francisco and Toronto. The camp has over 200 children mainly from the tristate area (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) as well as other states in the USA, Latin America, Russia and Israel. TAC employs over 30 staff, all over the age of 21, from countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and South Africa. Counselors live in cabins with approximately 20 campers and 2 other staff and work as general counselors who also run activities for the TAC campers.
Ages of Campers: 15-16 years old
Round Lake Camp (RLC) is a co-ed special needs camp offering a unique experience for campers with learning differences and social communication disorders. Activities are chosen on an individual choice basis allowing the day to be tailored to the need and ability of a campers including options in in sports, arts, science, lake, pool and ropes course. The camp has 100 children mainly from the tristate area (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) as well as other states in the USA. RLC employs over 65 staff from countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Israel. Counselors live in cabins with approximately 7 campers and 2 other staff and accompany campers to the activities they choose.
