TMC began in 1972 with just 6 trucks and has grown to be one of the largest flatbed carriers in the nation. TMC aims at being the best by hiring the best people, providing them with the beset equipment, and exceeding customer expectations.
In 2013, TMC Transportation became an Employee-Owned company. TMC is one of only a select few trucking companies that is employee owned. TMC's headquarters are in Des Moines, IA on 50 beautiful acres featuring state-of-the-art facilities. We operate terminals in Joplin, MO; Brownsburg, IN; and Gaston, SC, as well as logistics offices in Naperville, IL; Fort Worth, TX, and Bentonville, AR plus numerous dedicated customer locations throughout the country.
