The Behavioral Sciences Department at the University of Michigan-Dearborn offers a Masters of Science (MS) in Psychology in two specializations.

The Specialization in Clinical Health Psychology is a two-year 48-credit program that trains mental health care providers to work in primary care settings, as well as more traditional clinical psychology settings.

The Specialization in Health Psychology is a two-year 39-credit program that provides students with intensive training in one or more content areas within Health Psychology

Our program requires:

  • a BA/BS in Psychology or a related major (minimum GPA 3.0)
  • undergraduate courses in Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Statistics
  • GRE general test scores (quantitative and verbal combined of approximately 300)
  • three letters of recommendation
  • personal statement.

This program only admits for the Fall with a regular application deadline of March 15.  For attendees of this event, an application deadline extension has been granted to April 11, 2017 for Fall 2017 start term only.  Also for attending, UM-Dearborn will waive the $60 application fee if you apply before April 29, 2017.
