ABOUT US
The UNT System College of Pharmacy is part of the UNT Health Science Center, located on a 33-acre campus in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, home to world renowned museums including the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, the Kimbell Art Museum, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The Health Science Center houses six schools/colleges, research institutes, and health care delivery units that provide patient-centered education, research, and health care.
The UNT System College of Pharmacy produces professionals who embrace a team-based approach in caring for patients. We keep patients at the center of our efforts in education, research, and care by engaged learning with frequent practice. Our educational model is to:
Our pharmacy students receive didactic, laboratory, and experiential training, and apply what they learn in each setting. Students accepted to the program who are interested in research will be referred to faculty members on staff who can advise them on matters related to research.

INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
The global vision of the College of Pharmacy is to make health care better. Making health care better crucially depends upon the improved teamwork of a variety of health care professionals and improved access for patients. Our program leverages the benefit of being located on a Health Science Center campus through Interprofessional Education, providing pharmacy students the opportunity to work with students from the other five colleges on the Health Science Center campus each semester, as well as with students from nearby Texas Christian University. The UNT System College of Pharmacy is leading the way in team-based training that puts the patient at the center of care decisions while controlling costs and reducing medical errors.
