About

Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) supports the nation’s uniformed service members in peace and in war, exerting both depth and breadth of acquisition experience to support an extraordinarily complex array of service and commodity requirements. With more than 640 personnel managing contracts valued at over $70 billion, ACC-RI executes approximately 11 percent of the Army’s annual obligations.

ACC-RI is organized into three directorates reflecting its diverse mission set: Enterprise Contracting (Ammunition, Chemical Demilitarization, Installations, and Information Technology); Field Support Contracting (Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS), Global Reachback Contracting, the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise Program (EAGLE), and Sustainment) and Contract Operations (Business Operations, Contracting Support, and Contract Pricing).

Mission/Vision: We exist to support the soldier in the field. We work individually and collectively to ensure the warfighting readiness of the Army, knowing that world peace and the protection of Americans, at home and abroad, depend in part upon us and on our success in providing the highest quality contracting support for the acquisition of ammunition, theatre logistics support and chemical demilitarization. In the furtherance of our mission, we work together as an integrated team, in partnership with the soldier in the field, utilizing sound and ethical business practices to protect the public interest, and encouraging and rewarding innovation to meet the demands of technology and a changing world.
