About

DMT (Dental Management Training) Job Design

DMT or Dental Management Training is essential to assist Heartland in building its infrastructure for future growth.    The goal of this program is to select the highest caliber candidates and send them through an accelerated training program to be prepared to take on a leadership role.  We feel this program will work best for those attendees with limited dental experience, so that everyone is on the same page during class.

The program is six months in length and consists of a combination of classroom training, specific homework assignments, and hands on experience.   Participants will be in class on average 4 – 8 days per month and will be expected to be available 45 hours each week.  They will also be attending New Employee Orientation, Business Assistant Training, Mastery, Communications, and Business of Dentistry.  Mentors are assigned to work with them through the six months.  Participants have the opportunity to relocate throughout the United States during training and once final placement has been determined depending on the needs of the regions.

The success of each participant is based on the performance and leadership each participant puts forth for their career.  There is not a single career path for each participant.  Rather, it is determined by effort, performance and interests.  Upon the completion of the above training, your progress will be evaluated to determine your future route and position that best suits your career needs as well as Heartland.  As a nationwide company, candidates’ willingness to relocate is a determining factor in placement.
