Valparaiso University's CACREP-accredited clinical mental health counseling and NASP-approved school psychology programs prepare you for rewarding careers in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions.
For more than 50 years, Valpo faculty have offered programs at the graduate level that prepare students to succeed in their respective industries. Our psychology programs offer a range of practical and theoretical courses that integrate knowledge and research with hands-on, flexible learning. You will work closely with an advisor to choose a path within the program that best meets your professional and career goals. You'll collaborate with your student cohort, receive individual attention from faculty, and gain internship experience to develop the skills necessary to become a leader in the field of psychology.

THE VALUE OF A VALPO GRADUATE DEGREE
Graduate tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year is surprisingly affordable at $630 per credit. All of the programs with the exception of LCAC are over 60 credits and can be completed full time or part time. Both clinical mental health counseling and school psychology offer scholarships and research assistantships. Admitted students are also eligible for $1,500-3,500 one-time merit-based scholarship.
