The fair is designed for you to enjoy meeting, interviewing and hiring as many candidates who are interested in your school/program. We'll have a minimum of 500 registered teachers, with a maximum of 1,000. Note that unlike job boards, we carefully select and invite qualified candidates to attend our Teach Abroad Job Fairs. Our virtual fair is to help combat challenges you might have as an employer in posting an ad for a job, only to receive unqualified candidates. We look forward to having consistent, monthly ESL fairs in the future and hope you join our movement, as virtual fairs are increasingly popular in corporate America and the West. Candidates attending will have required citizenship to teach ESL in accordance to visa laws in your respective country. Furthermore, candidates will be alumni, or in their last year of study. Other candidates that are undergraduates are attending the virtual fair for programs that have volunteer or internship opportunities. Furthermore, they might be introducing themselves briefly and looking to work at your school or program in the near future. You don't have to chat with candidates who haven't yet graduated/qualified.
In addition to scrolling through resumes of candidates before and during the fair, you can pick and choose those who you're particularly interested in chatting with and interviewing. *If a candidate expresses they are not interested in your program, please note this and respectfully, do not further contact them. You can chat to an entire group of candidates in your chat room during the fair at once, or you can both message one another privately. Your goal might be to only recruit one teacher, or many more than that! Upon registration, you'll receive instructions/tutorials on how to navigate the fair. It's simple.
